ABOUT ME

Liefde is in mijn ogen altijd iets bijzonders geweest.

ABOUT ME

FOTO MARGJE TEST 2

My name is Margje Mosman and I was born and raised in Amsterdam. After having worked as a linguist for several years, I decided to change tack and completed a certified coaching course. As a coach in love I deal with all aspects of love. I have always felt that love is something special: two people loving each other is both completely ordinary and quite extraordinary. It is generally believed that everybody is capable of both giving and receiving love. Love is often taken for granted, even though for most of us it’s not that straightforward. I coach people with warmth and affection. I am straight to the point and not afraid to ask questions, and I use humour to keep things light.

LOVE IS DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE

#introductie

Love begins with you. Love is very personal, and different for everyone. What happens if things aren’t going smoothly? Love involves making choices. What choices are you making that inadvertently hamper your happiness? How do you find out, and how can you go back to following your heart?

If you want to discover where things are going wrong with respect to love and wish to look for the underlying cause, to gain insight into your own share in this, your decisions and new possibilities, then it’s a good time to come and see me.

EXAMPLES

DATING = DISCOVERING

Do you have trouble meeting people? Is it difficult for you to maintain eye contact, and does the very word ‘date’ cause you to break out in a cold sweat? Are conversations hard for you? Do you pick people that you are not compatible with, just to be safe? Has it been a long time since you’ve been in a relationship? Maybe things are simply not working out and you want to work on that.

FROM BEING IN LOVE TO LOVING

The transition from being in love to loving is complicated. Suddenly you are no longer blind to the other person’s shortcomings, the first annoyances arise, and you yourself are not always the best that you can be anymore. The thrill of being in love subsides while love itself grows, increasing your chances of getting hurt as well as leading to doubts: is this person worth spending my time on? Is this true love? Is this someone I want to spend the rest of my life with? Hard questions may arise even though you’ve only known someone for six months. What are your feelings, and what thoughts are keeping your head separate from your heart? What is stopping you from leaving?

A FRESH START

Maybe you have been together for a long time and want to stay together. That is what you both want. But then something happens: infidelity, the loss of a loved one, the birth of a child – anything that changes your relationship. It’s no longer possible to experience the love that exists between you in the same way. Your bond has been damaged, or perhaps disappeared altogether. What’s your next step? How can you restore your connection? What is happening in your heart and mind? You have changed, and so has the love you share. A new phase together begins, a fresh start.

FROM ‘US’ TO ‘YOU’

Sometimes the love people have for each other is not enough. So after everything you’ve been through, you decide to split up. Things are simply not working anymore, there is somebody else, or maybe your lover has passed on.

Whereas you used to think in terms of ‘we’ and ‘us’, you are now ‘you’. How do you handle that? Can you process it? Are you ready for a new relationship? And what about the people around you? How are you getting along with your ex, or your in-laws? Love the second time round – what is your baggage, what do you have to offer, and how does it all work out?
